Disagree on vela. Should have scored really I suppose, but it’s not all about goals - he played the role very, very well. His control and link-up play were fantastic. Really I don’t think anyone else in the squad can play that role now that van persie is out. Bendtner could do it well, but he’s inconsistent, and maybe eduardo deserves another chance, but Id have carlos up front for the chelsea game.
We know he can finish when he gets the chance too.
He needs to learn to kick with his right foot though

Casicky - Im the wrong one to ask on walcott. I’ve always thought that of him. Normally he does come back from injuries with impressive performances though. I guess aaron lennon is a good model for walcott. Hes a guy could in the past have been described as all pace, but now hes starting to use his brain hes a really good player. Walcott has more technical ability than lennon as well imo, so I think he’ll come good eventually. It just annoys me that arsenal has given him that massive contract before he ever really proved himself, and that he gets so many chances now when we have so many youngsters (such as vela and merida) who have had to wait.

All what you see in Theo is great potential. I agree with you on yesterday’s performance but Theo is going to be a great player, maybe even bigger than Song.

Jus thot I wud find out from my fellow Goonz,maybe my perception is distorted but did anyone else feel Threeo’s decision was all over the place las nite been lookin 4ward to his return bt when he came on he was an immense disappointment.Clueless is how I wud describe him and quite frankly um startin to think maybe he is jus speed,no brains and no brawn and quite frankly I dnt think he can make it Arsenal…..am I being too pessimistic???
